After vowing to crack down on demonstrators who have snarled Los Angeles traffic, police issued a jaywalking citation Wednesday evening to an actor protesting outside Republican Sen. John Seymour’s West Los Angeles office.
Curtis Armstrong, who appeared on the television series “Moonlighting,” joined about 200 demonstrators at Santa Monica and Sepulveda boulevards protesting Justice Clarence Thomas’ confirmation to the Supreme Court and Gov. Pete Wilson’s veto of a bill banning job discrimination against homosexuals.
The actor and some other protesters carried video cameras to document any incidents of alleged police harassment. “A lot of people were crossing against the red, yet they picked me out because I had a camera,” Armstrong said.
