Lunker Striped Bass Biting at Pyramid Lake
- Share via
The surface is churning from time to time at Pyramid Lake in Los Angeles County--the result of striped bass on the feed.
“It starts in the early morning, then stops, and then every 15 minutes or so it starts up again,” a spokeswoman at the lake said.
Top catches include the 22 1/2- and 10-pound stripers by Westchester’s Bob Hanley; the 20- and 10-pound fish by Camarillo’s David Longley, and the 22-8 striper by Lancaster’s Gordon Griffith.
