Free Counseling Offered for Homeowner Problems

The Los Angeles County Department of Consumer Affairs is offering free counseling to homeowners in the East Los Angeles area to prevent them from becoming victims of fraud and unfair business practices. The program also assists those facing foreclosure.
Staff members are available Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 133 N. Sunol Drive, East Los Angeles. For more information call (213) 260-2893 or (213) 974-1452, Monday through Friday.
