Politics OK in This Case

I’ve been a resident of Woodland Hills for 30 years. My memory recalls a councilman who took off to Mexico under questionable circumstances and another councilman whose only interest was the developers’ special interests.
Joy Picus is doing the job we elected her to do--represent her constituents. It would be interesting to know if the developers’ deposition regarding the Warner Ridge office complex was as frank and honest in describing how they influence the planning process as Picus was.
Yes, politics is involved on both sides, but the councilwoman’s position is in the best interests of this community--not to allow further commercial development on this particular site.
