Hikers Find Skeleton
Hikers on a wooded hillside in Descanso discovered human skeletal remains Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.
The hikers came across bones and pieces of clothing scattered in a 20-square-yard area in the 125000 block of California 79, said Stan Berdan, spokesman for the county medical examiner’s office.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives are investigating, Berdan said.
