MORE TRAIN: Amtrak this week increased the price of a 10-ride ticket on its San Diego-Los Angeles line by $3, or 30 cents a ticket. Officials say it’s a good deal for passengers because tickets are now good for 21 days instead of 14. . . . “We had a lot of complaints from people who rode occasionally that they couldn’t use up all their tickets,” Amtrak spokesman Art Lloyd says. For a little extra, Amtrak will provide a 90-day book.
