Pat Hardin, a mathematics teacher at Glendora High School, has been named Glendora Unified School District’s Teacher of the Year.
Hardin, along with teachers from other districts throughout the county, will be honored at a luncheon hosted by the Los Angeles County superintendent of schools Nov. 8.
Hardin has been with the school district since 1970. She was considered an outstanding physical education teacher when she became a full-time mathematics teacher in 1988.
“Pat Hardin is dependable, loyal to her students, her peers and to the discipline of education,” Glendora High School Principal Clay Hess said. “She maintains a positive and progressive attitude and has displayed a willingness to learn and grow that is enviable.”
