Meinhard Nehmer, formerly one of East Germany’s most successful bobsledders, will be the driving coach for the U.S. squad in its preparations for next year’s Albertville Olympics, the U.S. bobsled federation said. Nehmer won gold medals in the two-man and four-man events at the 1976 Olympics and in the four-man competition at the 1980 Games.
