PRIORITIES: Although Huntington Beach’s school district has cut $48,600 from athletics, Edison High’s drug-testing for football remains. “We feel too strongly about it,†said Coach Dave White, whose program is funded through grants and private donations. The school has tested since 1985 for drugs including marijuana and alcohol, and for two years for steroids.
