Glendale : $35 Fee Added for Towing

Drivers whose cars are impounded in Glendale will have to pay an additional $35 fee to get them back.
Effective Oct. 24, the fee will be assessed on vehicles the Police Department orders towed away for parking violations, an accident or suspected criminal activity. The fee is in an ordinance adopted Tuesday by the City Council.
The fee is being imposed to cover administrative costs by the Police Department and is in addition to fines, towing and storage charges already levied against owners.
