Concerts Canceled: The Orange County Chamber Orchestra has cut in half its ninth season, canceling three of six concerts at the Irvine Barclay Theatre, and may be in danger of folding, says music director Micah Levy. Originally set to open Monday, the season now will begin Jan. 13 and will continue March 9 and May 18. Levy blamed poor ticket sales and insufficient donations. “We figured we’d cut our losses,” Levy said. “We absolutely still intend to do the three remaining programs, but it’s going to be rough.”
