The 11th Woodbridge Invitational, scheduled for Saturday at Woodbridge High School, has grown over the past 10 years into the second-largest cross-country meet in Southern California.
Meet directors expect athletes from 130 schools to compete, with defending boys’ champion Saddleback, and defending girls’ champion Agoura, returning. The meet is scheduled to begin at 7:45 a.m.
Ten years ago, athletes from 32 schools competed. The Mt. San Antonio Invitational has the largest field among meets in the area.
