DEMOS: The State Bar says it will know more about its members for this year’s convention than ever before. In an unprecedented survey, lawyers statewide were asked their race, their sex, sexual preference, marital status and even how many hours they work. . . . “It will help us tailor education, substance abuse and ethics programs,” says State Bar President Charles S. Vogel. Results are to be released today.
