Beverly Hills : King Day a City Holiday

Martin Luther King Day will take the place of California Admission Day as a holiday for city workers.
In a unanimous vote Tuesday night, the City Council approved the change, which was agreed on in negotiations with employees’ bargaining groups.
City employees in Beverly Hills receive 10 paid holidays a year, provided they work the day before and the day after the holiday.
