TUSTIN : Building Permit System Faces Review
- Share via
The City Council has instituted a new system to improve service to residents seeking building permits.
Each customer at the Community Development Department will be asked to complete a customer service evaluation form and drop it in a box on the counter. The form can also be mailed in. City staff members will discuss the comments and suggestions at weekly meetings.
In addition, staff members will report to the City Council on the new policy and responses at the end of September.
The city is considering other measures to improve service as well, including new handouts and a computer network system that would automatically issue permits and speed other processes.
