Glendale : Water-Saving Landscaping
Revised landscaping plans to conserve water at a temporary park downtown were approved Tuesday by the Glendale Redevelopment Agency.
The park will be on the northern portion of the site of a new 20-story office and retail development at Broadway and Brand Boulevard.
Homart Development Co. of Chicago and its partner, CB Commercial Real Estate Group, have agreed to plant and maintain a drought-resistant park that can be used by civic and service organizations for such events as Christmas tree sales and recycling drives.
