CHICAGO — Al Del Greco, who earlier had missed two field goals, kicked a 41-yarder with no time left Sunday night to give the Phoenix Cardinals a 12-10 victory over the Chicago Bears in an NFL exhibition game.
The winning kick was set up by a 12-yard pass from backup quarterback Tom Tupa to Darren Flutie.
The Bears (1-2) had taken a 10-9 lead on Darren Lewis’ two-yard touchdown run and a 44-yard field goal by Kevin Butler, who had missed four other attempts.
Both scores came after turnovers by the Cardinals (2-0), who gave the ball up five times, three on fumbles and two by interceptions.
Timm Rosenbach completed nine of 15 passes for 84 yards in the first half for the Cardinals. Jim Harbaugh started for the Bears and completed 11 of 17 for 111 yards.
