Student Ollie Cantos : West Covina Man Wins Stipend as Top Blind Student

Ollie Cantos of West Covina, who is majoring in political science at Loyola Marymount University, was named one of 27 outstanding blind students in the nation and received a $6,000 scholarship from the National Federation of the Blind.
Federation President Marc Maurer said the scholarship program helps students reach goals even when the sighted may consider the goals too ambitious.
