There are bass and then there are bass--and both are biting in the channel at Silverwood Lake.
Stripers and largemouth are on the feed at the San Bernardino County reservoir, according to spokesman Craig Soverns, whose brother, Brian, weighed in his first-ever largemouth at 5 1/4 pounds. Del East took big-fish honors with a 22-pound striper.
