‘The Simpsons’ Play Ball: Dodgers Darryl Strawberry and Mike Scioscia are among several major leaguers lending their voices for an episode of “The Simpsons� scheduled to air in October on Fox. The storyline has Montgomery Burns, Homer Simpson’s boss and owner of the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, hiring Wade Boggs, Jose Canseco, Roger Clemens, Ken Griffey Jr., Don Mattingly, Steve Sax and Ozzie Smith to play on the company’s softball team against a rival plant’s squad. Other sports figures who will be guest voices this season on the show include Laker Magic Johnson and announcer Chick Hearn.
