RESCUE TRIP?: Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Long Beach) has asked to meet government leaders in Vietnam on Aug. 5 if two Cypress ministers are not released from custody there. . . . In letters to Vietnam’s foreign minister and ambassador to the United Nations, Rohrabacher demanded explanation for why Nhi Van Ho and Tuan Phuc Ma were arrested July 2 as they handed out Bibles in Ho Chi Minh City. If they are victims of religious repression, Rohrabacher warned, it “is certainly an obstacle to improving relations.”
