The Moscow Bears defeated the Minsk Buffaloes, 91-0, the worst blowout in the one-year history of “Amerikanski football” in Moscow.
With six teams and about 20 clubs, the sport is growing. Soviet TV has broadcast two playoff games, and officials are planning the first championship--the “Kremlin Bowl”--in September.
