Avantek Inc. announced that E. Oran Brigham, the company’s president and chief executive, plans to retire before the end of the year. Brigham will continue to manage the Santa Clara, Calif.-based electronics firm until his replacement is selected, and he will assist during a transition period. He will remain a member of the board.
