Cab Drivers
I believe I have a solution to the recent attacks on the local cab drivers. When a fare enters the cab, require that person to show some identification such as a driver’s license or other picture I.D. The driver would then relay this information to the dispatcher. The fare shouldn’t object to this quick and possibly lifesaving procedure. If this procedure is given enough publicity, it may well serve as a deterrent to this kind of crime.
