Spain Authorizes U.S. Airline Flights: It agreed to allow four U.S. airlines to serve Madrid. It had initially refused to authorize the service, prompting the U.S. Transportation Department to threaten to cancel Spain’s rights to serve New York and Miami. The agreement applies to American, United, Delta and Continental.
