Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing in Lennox
A man found stabbed several times in a Lennox apartment Thursday died at a hospital and another man was being held in connection with the killing.
Deputies about 12:20 a.m. found the mortally wounded man in the living room of an apartment in the 10300 block of Buford Avenue, said Deputy Roger Hom of the sheriff’s information bureau. The victim, whose name was unavailable, was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center where he died two hours later, said Hom.
At the apartment, deputies arrested Jose Diaz, 21, of Lennox, on suspicion of murder, sheriff’s officials said. He was being held at the Lennox station without bail. It was not immediately known if either man lived at the apartment or what led to the stabbing.
