‘Rockers United’ 3-Day Concert to Benefit Red Cross and USO
ANAHEIM — Eddie Money, Lynch Mob, Bad English and Stevie Nicks will be among the performers taking part in “Rockers United for the U.S.A.,†a three-day series of benefit concerts at the Celebrity Theatre June 20-22.
The organizers, a Hollywood-based outfit called RU4 Inc., say a majority of the proceeds are slated for the American Red Cross and the Los Angeles USO Desert Storm Crisis fund to help offset costs incurred during the Persian Gulf War. Along with the scheduled rock acts, each of the three shows is to feature “celebrity guests†and “patriotic theme segments.â€
On Thursday, June 20, the bill will feature Bad English, Eddie Money and Venice, with special guest Nicks, Ameruso, and Circle of Soul. On Friday, June 21, the acts will be Lynch Mob, Stryper, Loudness, Tattoo Rodeo, Rhino Bucket and Wild Boyz. The Saturday, June 22, show will feature hard-rock acts from Geffen Records, who should be named in the next week.
