Azusa : Forum on Drought Impact
An expert on converting sewage into usable water and an authority on California water politics will be among seven water experts discussing the impact of the drought on the San Gabriel Valley at a forum May 30 in Azusa.
Earle C. Hartling, water reuse coordinator for the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County, and UCLA professor Robert Gottlieb, author of several books on state water issues, will present their views at 7 p.m. at the Azusa Civic Auditorium, 213 E. Foothill Blvd.
The forum is sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club, the League of Women Voters and the Superfund Working/Information Group.
