Camarillo 4, Gahr 2--Visiting Camarillo advanced to the semifinal round Tuesday against Katella, which defeated Huntington Beach.
4-A DIVISION
Santa Ana Foothill 2, Crescenta Valley 0--Second-seeded Foothill (23-2) shut down host Crescenta Valley (26-3) in the quarterfinal game. Cara Campbell and Shelby Hempel singled for Crescenta Valley’s only hits.
1-A DIVISION
La Reina 11, Santa Paula 7--Michelle St. Pierre (15-1) earned the win for visiting and top-seeded La Reina (19-5). La Reina’s Heidi Heinl (double and triple), Erin Petrick, Theresa Pasinosky, St. Pierre, Amy Gusick and Jaye Brant each had two hits.
Patty Barron and Missy Macias each had two hits for Santa Paula.
Paraclete 10, Moorpark 2--Second-seeded Paraclete (24-1) broke open the quarterfinal game with a five-run fifth inning against visiting Moorpark (16-8).
