Metro Rail Dialogue

Thanks for the article regarding the routing of the proposed western branch of the Metro Rail subway (Times, May 5).
It seems that political considerations received more attention than the potential function of this expensive rail line.
Hopefully your article will open a dialogue on this route before irreversible construction decisions are made. We simply cannot spend billions of dollars on a subway line that serves only a political purpose.
