MOORPARK : Instructor Is Target of Sex Crime Inquiry
A Moorpark College instructor is being investigated in connection with the alleged sexual battery of an 18-year-old former student, a Ventura County sheriff’s spokesman said Friday.
The instructor was not identified by police. The student saw her instructor on campus Wednesday morning, and he invited her back to his office where the crime allegedly occurred about 11:30 a.m., Lt. Tony Ditzhazy said.
Before Wednesday, the woman had not seen her instructor since last semester, he said.
Sexual battery involves intimate touching against a person’s will.
