PRESSURE POINT: Curt Pringle says he won’t run for the Assembly seat that John R. Lewis is giving up to run for the state Senate. . . . Twenty-one of his former Sacramento colleagues urged Pringle--who was in the Assembly for one term--to run in the GOP primary, but the state’s top Republican, Gov. Pete Wilson, was said to oppose his candidacy. Sources say Wilson favors a more moderate GOP candidate to fill the seat.
