Dead Man in Stolen Car Is Identified

Authorities on Sunday identified the man whose body was found Saturday in a stolen car near Hansen Dam Park in Lake View Terrace. Patrick Hands, 18, was found dead about 5:30 a.m. near Osborne Street and Glenoaks Boulevard. He had been shot several times.
Officials were continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the shooting. Police discovered the car with Hands in it against a fence off Osborne Street early Saturday. Police were investigating a report from a man who said he heard a woman screaming and shots fired.
Authorities determined later that the car had been stolen.
