COUNTRY HIT: The Crazy Horse Steak House in Santa Ana has picked up its fifth consecutive “Nightclub of the Year†award from the Academy of Country Music. . . . The Palomino club in North Hollywood won the award for 14 consecutive years, 1965-78, but that was before the Crazy Horse existed and when the award was limited to California clubs. Now it’s a national competition. Owner Fred Reiser says the Crazy Horse wins because of its emphasis on “the family atmosphere and the camaraderie†with the artists. “It’s certainly not the size of the club or how much we’re paying people.â€
