Costa Mesa : Man Who Shot 2 Won’t Face Charges

A Costa Mesa man who shot two men after they allegedly tried to break into his apartment last weekend did so in self-defense and will not be charged in the incident, officials said.
Jose Hernandez, 21, of Costa Mesa wounded two men attempting to enter his apartment last Friday in the 1000 block of El Camino Drive, officials said.
Two suspects, Lejjena Lejjena, 28, and Hermios Kibin Jr., 24, both of Costa Mesa, were charged with malicious mischief, authorities said.
