CAMARILLO : Charges Assessed on Overdue Trash Bills
- Share via
Starting April 28, Camarillo residents will have to pay a 10% late charge on garbage bills that are overdue 19 days.
The Camarillo City Council approved the fines Wednesday.
The charge is aimed at 10% of the city’s customers who are chronically late, said Joyce Marsh, assistant director of finance. It will affect about 1,300 customers a month, she said.
Most Camarillo residents pay a one-barrel trash rate of $15.30, with an additional $1.87 for recycling.
