COLLEGE BASKETBALL / NCAA TOURNAMENT : WOMEN’S ROUNDUP REGIONAL FINALS : Tennessee Back in Final Four

The Tennessee women’s basketball team defeated Auburn, 69-65, Saturday in the Mideast Regional final at Knoxville, Tenn., to advance to the Final Four for the fifth time in six years and the seventh time in 10 years.
Tennessee (28-5) was led by Jody Adams with 17 points. Tournament MVP Kelli Casteel had 15 and Daedra Charles had 15 points and 16 rebounds.
The fourth-ranked Lady Vols built an early 27-7 lead and held off the No. 6 Lady Tigers (26-6) down the stretch.
No. 13 Connecticut 60, No. 21 Clemson 57--The Huskies made seven of eight free throws in the last 1:09 in beating the Lady Tigers (22-11) in the East Regional final at Philadelphia. Kerry Bascom scored 22 points for Connecticut (29-4), which faces Virginia next Saturday at New Orleans. It will be the Huskies’ first Final Four.
No. 2 Virginia 85, No. 24 Lamar 70--Tonya Cardoza scored 24 points to lead the Cavaliers (30-2) over the Lady Cardinals (29-4) in the Midwest Regional final at Austin, Tex.
