Ventura : Police Arrest 3 on Burglary Charges

Three men suspected of robbing a house in the 300 block of South Redwood Street in Ventura were arrested Thursday after a neighbor reported suspicious activity to police, authoritiessaid.
When officers approached the house, the men fled out the back door and into a flood-control storm drain, police said. Police began a house-to-house search, and two of the men were arrested as they tried to walk away from the area.
A third man was discovered 45 minutes later when a woman reported that she had seen him go into a neighbor’s back yard in the the street’s 500 block. Arrested on suspicion of burglary were Jose Gonzales, 18, Juan Fegueroa, 18, and Ramiro Robles, police said.
The would-be burglars had stacked property by the door, in preparation for removing it, when they were interrupted, police said.
