California IN BRIEF : RIVERSIDE : Missing Woman’s Body Is Uncovered

A body found in a shallow grave northwest of Desert Hot Springs has been identified as that of Jane Sue Mixon, 49, of Whittier, who was reported missing by her husband, Donald E. Mixon, on Nov. 20, six days after the two argued over whether to go shopping or play golf. The body was found near a second home she and her husband owned at Mission Lakes Country Club, said Riverside County Sheriff’s Sgt. Keith Stinson. The cause of death is being withheld pending toxicological tests. No arrests have been made.
