Cal Thomas on Modern Church
It is precisely the rigidity and inflexibility championed by Thomas which is responsible for the decline in traditional church attendance and the “growing irrelevance” he’s wringing his hands over. Is this the “sound doctrine” to which he refers?
Also, did anyone fail to notice that the incidents he offers as examples of modern-day heresy were all but confined to attacks on homosexuals? How ironic that he supports exclusionary measures which could only fuel the decline in attendance.
