Grand Metropolitan PLC, London, named Ian Martin, currently head of its Minneapolis-based Grand Metropolitan Food Sector that includes the Pillsbury Co. and Burger King, to the additional post of deputy group chief executive of Grand Metropolitan PLC. He was also named chief operating officer and group managing director, effective Jan. 1, 1992.
