A Thousand Oaks house, which was damaged in a fire two months ago, was completely destroyed in another blaze this weekend, authorities said.
The fire began about 5 p.m. Sunday at the house in the 2000 block of El Monte Drive, said Mike Chatin, a spokesman for the Ventura County Fire Department. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, he said.
The structure, valued at $130,000, was a total loss, and $20,000 in contents were destroyed, Chatin said.
No one was injured in the fire. The house had been vacated after the fire in December, and the owners were planning to remodel it, he said.
