Emery Executive Resigns: Emery Worldwide Chief Executive Arthur Bass and key members of his hand-picked management team have resigned from the money-losing air-freight concern. Bass, 58, a former executive of Federal Express, will be succeeded by W. Roger Curry, a marketing vice president of Emery’s parent, Consolidated Freightways Inc. Curry, 52, has been with Emery for 22 years.
