Women Serving in the Gulf War

A child’s early years with her/his mother are too precious in far too many ways. Even the war should not be given the power to destroy an infant’s world. What are we fighting for? This is one casualty of civilization we must not applaud or tolerate.
Early mother’s love may not guarantee that the child will grow into a great artist or philosopher, but it is a serious contributing factor. Conversely, the deprivation of mother’s love may not guarantee that the child will turn out to be a criminal, but there is undisputed evidence that it greatly increases the probability.
Society will be much better off if we take a few billion out of war and armaments and spend that money instead on infants, their mothers, and their care and education. Now, that is a war to end all wars!
