The striped bass in San Bernardino County’s Silverwood Lake are giving anglers all they can handle, but don’t tell James Peek and Harry Heit.
The two San Bernardino residents caught a 27-pound striper with their hands. The fish apparently had more than it could handle in the large carp it tried to devour. While it was choking on the fish on the surface, Peek and Heit merely grabbed the striper and hauled it onto their boat.
