Competitor Cries Foul Against Nintendo: American Video Entertainment, a maker of game cartridges based in San Jose, said Nintendo Co. Ltd. of Japan has secretly made changes to its game machines in an attempt to eliminate market competition. The Japanese entertainment giant said the changes are part of an ongoing effort to stop a worldwide game counterfeiting problem.
