Linda Lenz Designs’ Terramor heart is a reminder that the Earth needs our attention. A thoughtful gift, the Terramor (from the Latin words for earth and love ) is a three-dimensional heart that features South and North America, Europe and Africa.

This quarter-size, dome-shaped heart has an open back and is handcrafted in silver or gold-plated silver. The oceans are composed of a softly brushed matte finish, while the continents are highly polished. An 18-inch Italian box-link chain provides durability. The pin and the pendant each sell for $70. (The heart can also be custom-ordered in 14- or 18-karat gold.)

Lenz designed the jewelry in an effort to do something positive for the environment. A portion of the profits from the Terramor is donated to a variety of preservation-minded organizations, including Greenpeace, the Nature Conservancy, the Sierra Club and the American Humane Assn.
