I can’t believe that Khouri speaks for anyone but himself when he says the attacks on Israeli civilians are a “source of pride” to Arabs and that “symbolically they are the equivalent of an Arab atom bomb.”
If this opinion accurately reflects Arab thinking, this tells us that everything the Israelis have done regarding the Palestinians has not only been necessary, but it has also been as restrained as the Israeli response to the Scud missiles.
