Hart 78, San Gabriel 59--Carol Gruhlke scored a career-high 23 points and had 11 rebounds to lead Hart (21-4, 8-1), which clinched a share of its third consecutive Foothill League title.

Alemany 55, Notre Dame 35--Sarah Guziel paced Alemany (17-7, 8-1) with 19 points, 15 rebounds, 12 blocks and five steals in a Mission League game.

Buena 63, San Marcos 46--Michelle Giordano, a 5-11 freshman, had 18 points and eight rebounds to lead Buena (20-2, 12-1) in a Channel League game at San Marcos. Lianne Ishikawa added 16 points and nine assists for Buena.

Glendale 52, Muir 33--Glendale (17-5, 9-0) clinched its first league title since 1980 with the Pacific League win at Muir (15-7, 6-3).

Tracy Young had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Jennifer Dalton added 12 points, 11 rebounds and eight steals for Glendale.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Muir 76, Glendale 62--The Dynamiters missed nine consecutive field-goal attempts in the third quarter in a Pacific League game. Glendale’s Mike Wright scored a game-high 26 points.

Quartz Hill 91, Canyon 88--Quartz Hill (19-4, 8-1) won its first outright Golden League title by edging host Canyon.

Burroughs 57, Schurr 42--Rick Mulloy had 16 points and 11 rebounds for host Burroughs in a Foothill League game.

Hoover 65, Crescenta Valley 60--Dave Ulloa scored 24 points and Hoover made 15 of 17 free throws in a Pacific League game.

El Segundo 71, Harvard 69--Markus Puhvel missed an 18-foot shot in the waning seconds for Harvard (17-4, 8-1) in a San Fernando Valley League game.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Simi Valley 4, Agoura 1--Brian Weaver had two goals and an assist as the host Pioneers (19-2-1, 12-1) sewed up their third consecutive Marmonte League title and ninth in the past 12 years.

Harvard 2, El Segundo 1--Harvard (14-5-3, 6-0-1) earned part of the San Fernando Valley League title when David Moran scored with 2 1/2 minutes left.

Birmingham 1, North Hollywood 0--Jari Cohen scored 20 minutes into the first half and goalkeeper Willie Palacios made eight saves as the Braves (9-2-3, 8-1-1) clinched the Valley Pac-8 Conference title.
