LAS VEGAS — Tammy Moore made a three-point shot with 2:58 to play in overtime to give 17th-ranked Nevada Las Vegas the lead for good, and the Rebels avenged a loss by beating Cal State Fullerton, 88-82, in a Big West Conference women’s basketball game Monday.
The victory spoiled a school-record 44-point performance by Fullerton’s Genia Miller, one better than the record she set a year ago against Hawaii. Fullerton, ranked 24th, is 16-5 overall and 9-3 in the Big West. The Titans defeated Las Vegas, 86-80, Jan. 19.
Vicki Lander had 20 points for Las Vegas (17-4, 8-2).
